Capsule Description: Vapubeetles are Tether Beetles
warped by various Technological experiments.
Unlike other types of Tether Beetles, they are actively 'bred' by
Technological Seneschals for use in early warning systems.
Vapubeetles are kept in stasis units that are
programmed to turn themselves off (once armed) in the presence (1d6 yards) of
celestial entities. Once awakened, the
Vapubeetles will home in on anything organic (including vessels) and
detonate. This kills the Vapubeetle and
causes disturbance if the target is not corporeal. Needless to say, the stasis units (and arming mechanism) are
subject to usual Vaputech quality control requirements.
